The Preschool Nature Explorers Program is a partnership between Rethink Learning and the Seattle Public Library. In this program, we bring an integrated learning experience with an emphasis on environmental science to preschool students. By engaging in one or more books read to them by a librarian, students start to think about science questions. Then, hands-on activities let them experience science through exploration, creation, and questioning. Each lesson includes a focus on:
- Making Observations
- Looking for Patterns
- Systems Thinking
This program began in May 2025 and we are currently working with a disabilities inclusive preschool in downtown Seattle, WA.
